Easy Spinach Basil Pesto

Ditch that old jar of oily pesto, its time for a healthy and fresh alternative! It has the same great garlicy basil flavor and smooth texture without all the added fat. This pesto is perfect over some zucchini noodles or with some roasted Italian seasoned chicken. Check it out!

  • 2 TBSP fresh basil
  • 1 TBSP parsley (optional, based on taste preference)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened nut milk I recommend using almond or cashew milk
  • 2 cups baby spinach tightly packed
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2-3 medium garlic cloves more if you like a strong garlic flavor
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • black pepper to taste
