- 1 organic turkey
- 1 lb real butter
- 1/2 tsp sage
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp marjoram
- 1/2 tsp rosemary

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Rinse the turkey inside and out, and then pat dry. Stuff (if desired), and truss. Cut a piece of cheese cloth to length that will cover the turkey and unfold to a single thickness
3. Melt butter into a small saucepan and add sage, thyme, marjoram, and rosemary. Place cheesecloth in the pan and completely saturate.
4. Place turkey in oven and reduce heat to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. After 15 minutes, drape butter-soaked cheesecloth over the turkey so that it is completely covered. After an hour, baste the turkey every 15 minutes or so to keep the cheesecloth moist. Remove the cheesecloth for the last 30 minutes of cooking time for crisp skin. After removing from oven, allow turkey to rest for at least 20 minutes before carving
Serving size = 3 ounces of turkey. Each serving has 3 ounces of protein on the Access Health Plan
